What's Your Biggest Fear Heading into 2026?

"When the cost of staying the same outweighs the fear of the unknown, that's when it's time to make a change."

What are your biggest fears heading into 2026? I think about this question a lot. There are 2 answers that consistently come up.

Fear #1: Being face to face with a great blue whale in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Truly terrifying thought. Alone. Middle of the Pacific Ocean. Staring at a great blue whale. Yes, the thought of a great blue whale is scarier than a shark. The Pacific Ocean takes up 32% of the world's surface, 63.8 million square miles, larger than all land areas of the world combined. Less than 5% of the total ocean floor has been mapped in high-resolution detail and only about 0.001% visually surveyed by humans.

Fear #2: Having regrets at the end of my life. Even though I have tons of life left, I think about this one all the time. Because even at 37 years young, if I don't make some changes soon, it will only get harder and harder to ensure I don't end up in that position.

My personal life is a 10/10. Financially? Always striving for more, but in a pretty comfortable spot. Career fulfillment? Lotta work to do. I've played it safe in too many ways up to this point in my life.

I don't have any regrets. I've built an incredible life. But I'm done playing it safe. Safe = death. There's a pit in my stomach that grows bigger every single day. The cost of staying the same is officially outweighing the fear of the unknown.

To me, true wealth is living life entirely on your own terms. Being in complete control of all aspects of your life - time, money, everything. Answering to no one but the people you actually want to answer to. I am working towards building a life where I do exactly what I want to do, with the people I want to do it with, as often as possible.

I plan to help millions of people while making millions of dollars.

Make 2026 the year you: start that side hustle, ask for that promotion or raise you know you deserve, seek out that new job, go all in on your business, commit to your health and fitness, pick up that new hobby, recommit to your personal relationships.

Ask yourself: What do you want to do but fear the most? Whatever that is, that is exactly what you should do. Fear is a leading indicator that you are on the right track.

Let's be fearless in 2026, Hal the Health Coach
