Do you Embrace Hard or Run From it?
"The moment you realize nobody knows what they're doing is the day you become unstoppable. Every expert you admire was once as clueless as you feel right now. The only difference is they persisted in the face of feeling embarrassed." - Justin Welsh
Amy joined a Mom's group in Hoboken soon after Stella was born. One of her new mom friends recently started following me on Instagram. They were chatting this week and her friend said, "So your husband is really into fitness, huh?" "Yes." replies Amy. Friend: "I used to work in fitness. I tried it for a while then I stopped. It's really hard."
Hearing this exchange probably discouraged me, right? No, quite the opposite.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I WILL WIN WHEN OTHERS LOSE.
When things gets hard, most people quit. I LOVE hard. I don't expect anything to be easy. Anything that doesn't require hard work isn't worth doing. There are no shortcuts to glory in life.
Building this business into a multi millionaire dollar empire will be a ton of work. But I'm so up for the challenge. I cannot wait. I plan to live 'til I'm 100 so I got plenty of time.
The next time something gets hard, pay attention to how you react. If you find yourself shying away from it (which is a very normal initial reaction), try to confront it head on. Build the muscle of getting comfortable being uncomfortable. Domination will follow.
Stay well this week and happy holidays, Hal the Health Coach
