Squat and Pushup Crusher, Shrimp Quesadillas

Squat and Pushup Crusher, Shrimp Quesadillas

Today I'm giving one simple, but certainly not easy workout, and one quick, easy, and protein packed recipe:

Workout of the week: Squat and Pushup Crusher Recipe of the week: Shrimp Quesadillas

Squat and Pushup Crusher

Here's how it works, for time:

Every minute, on the minute, do 10 body squats

After the squats, do as many pushups as you can / want

The workout ends after you hit 250 pushups

That's it.

You'll want to be strategic and space out your pushups. Take breaks however / whenever you need to during each minute. But at the top of every minute you must do another 10 body squats before continuing on with your pushups.

This requires zero equipment. You can do it from anywhere. And it will crush you.

Shrimp Quesadillas

Ingredients: - 1 lbs shrimp - Mission Carb Tortillas - Lowfat Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese (~0.75 cup per quesadilla) - 1 can of Black Beans - Spinach - Banana Peppers - Low cal condiments of choice: Salsa, G Hughes BBQ sauce, Frank's Red Hot Sauce, and tzatziki are all great options

Directions: 1. Season shrimp with a little bit of olive oil and seasonings of choice (garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper) 2. Air Fry shrimp for 8 minutes at 400 degrees (or use stovetop) 3. Spray skillet with EVOO spray or Avocado oil spray, heat up on stovetop on M/H heat 4. Place tortilla on skillet and start building the quesadilla on one half 5. Start with a heavy layer of cheese, then add the veggies and shrimps 6. Add another layer of cheese on the other half of the tortilla and add the beans on top of it 7. After a minute or two the cheese will start melting - at that point fold over the other half of the tortilla to form your quesadilla 8. Once the tortilla starts turning brownish, it's done - remove from pan and cut into triangles 9. Serve with low cal condiments of choice

In my quesadilla I used ~0.7 lbs shrimp and ~ 1/2 cup of black beans, and the 'dilla clocked in at over 100 grams of protein for only ~800 calories. Beastly numbers. Shrimp is straight protein. Work it heavily in the rotation if you like it.

Put yourself through the Squat and Pushup Crusher this week.

Then reward yourself with some delicious shrimp quesadillas afterwards.
