Prison Burpees Ladder . . . and Tony Horton

Prison Burpees Ladder . . . and Tony Horton

I'm keeping it straightforward today as we approach the end of this hellish final real week of the year.

Christmas is around the corner. Stay strong, we're almost there.

I've got another simple, but definitely not easy, at home workout for ya.

Workout of the Week: Prison Burpees Ladder

This one is absolutely brutal. But it's also great.

Prison Burpees Ladder - here's how it goes:

Start at one side of your room and do 20 burpees. Run to the other side of your room, and do 19 burpees. And so on and so forth until you get down to 1 burpee.

The idea is to complete it in 20 minutes, which is challenging, so take more time if you need it. But do not stop until you get it done.

Not a member of a gym? No problem. Don't have any gym equipment at home? Good, you don't need any. Don't have time? You are lying to yourself if you're pretending you can't find 20 minutes. Don't think 20 minutes is long enough? Give this a shot, guarantee it will convince you otherwise.

This one has a rebuttal for every single excuse in the book to not work out.

Do it first thing in the morning after you roll out of bed. Do it as soon as you get home from work. Do it while watching sports or Netflix instead of just melting into the couch.

Just . . . Do It.

Stay well, Hal the Health Coach
