Fresh vs. Frozen Fruits and Vegetables
WEEKLY CLIENT RESOURCE
Good morning, Subscriber First Name,
This week's resource covers the benefits of fresh vs. frozen fruits and veggies.
The bottom line is that these are some of the healthiest foods you can eat, and need to be a staple of your diet, so go with whichever variation will lead to you consuming them most frequently.
With that said, it was not until recently that I realized the benefits of the frozen variations in particular. They are oftentimes fresher as they are frozen immediately after being picked, and you do not have to worry about shelf life and waste as you can leave them frozen in your freezer for months until you are ready to consume them.
With that said, the convenience of grabbing unfrozen, fresh fruits and veggies directly from your fridge is hard to beat.
So you really can't go wrong with either approach, but I think it's important to understand some of the pros and cons of both.
